TS Galaxy head coach Owen Da Gama says Ethan Books selection for Bafana Bafana should be a lesson for all young players.
Brooks has had a meteoric rise over the past year, and has featured for the national team five times already this year, most notably during the Cosafa Cup success.
The Galaxy coach says Brooks’ success shows that if you work hard, opportunities will arise.
“We are very happy for Ethan. He deserves to be called-up. He has shown his mettle whenever he has been given an opportunity to play. He also did well in the Cosafa Cup for Bafana Bafana,” Da Gama told the club’s website.
“He has been putting a lot of work at training. You’ll put him in any position. He will give you his best. We are very proud and happy for him.
“This should be a lesson to all the younger players in the team that if you work hard you’ll get opportunities.”
