Kaizer Chiefs have – via the club’s social media channel – confirmed that the likes of Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly are back in training.
The duo was among the notable absentees in Amakhosi’s 2-0 win over Sekhukhune United on Sunday.
The club had suffered a Covid-19 outbreak at Naturena which had seen 48 members of the club’s personnel test positive for Covid-19.
Despite the club not confirming which players were infected, several key players had missed Sunday’s win over Sekhukhune.
However, it seems there is some favourable news at Naturena this week, as Chiefs social media published images from their “Wednesday morning training session at The Kaizer Chiefs Village in Naturena”.
The pictures include the likes of Dolly, Billiat as well as Lebogang Manyama, who all missed Sunday’s match.
However, there was no visual confirmation of whether or not head coach Stuart Baxter has returned to Naturena after he also missed Sunday’s game in the sidelines.
It also remains to be seen whether the players, who returned to training this week, will be fit enough to feature in Amakhosi’s next game against Royal AM.
The Glamour Boys will take on Royal AM in their next DStv Premiership fixture on Sunday, 19 December.
