GladAfrica Championship side Richards Bay have confirmed the signing of Tshepo Liphoko.
The former Amajita player joins from KZN neighbours Royal AM, where he had spent the past two seasons.
The Durban-born 26-year-old has been training with Richards Bay since last month after leaving Royal AM.
Having started his career as an Orlando Pirates youth player, Liphoko spent most of the past decade at KZN clubs, having also featured for Golden Arrows, AmaZulu and Uthongathi, though did have a two season spell at Mbombela United.
Richards Bay are currently challenging for promotion and after 17 rounds of games are top of the GladAfrica table, ahead of JDR Stars on goal difference.
Both teams are on 32 points, but Pitso Dladla’s team have a goal difference of +9, compared to JDR’s +7.
The Natal Rich Boyz are also still in contention in the Nedbank Cup.
