Orlando Pirates have confirmed that highly-rated defender Olisa Ndah will be available against Royal AM after missing their CAF Confederations Cup clash, while Wayne Sandilands and Tshegofatso Mabasa are doubtful.
The Buccaneers face fifth-placed Royal Am on Thursday evening and could draw level on points with the former Bloemfontein Celtic side.
However, Pirates have failed to win any of their last three DStv Premiership games, while Royal AM have won four out of their last five.
The Soweto giants confirmed that Ndah will be available for the clash.
“Having hit the ground running in his first few appearances in Bucs colours, new recruit Olisa Ndah can be expected to feature in the matchday squad after not being available ahead of the Club’s last fixture,” the club stated.
“Meanwhile, goalkeeper Wayne Sandilands and striker Tshegofatso Mabasa are among the latest injury concerns in the camp.
Pirates also indicated that Zakhele Lepasa could be edging closer to a return after stating: “There has been some progress on the injury front, with some players in the Buccaneers’ long injury list nearing a return to action.”
Thembinkosi Lorch is also still sidelined, with co-caretaker coach Fadlu Davids indicating he would be out until the end of the year.
