Pirates Target Three Points With Fresh Faces

Orlando Pirates co-caretaker Fadlu Davids says the team is aiming to take a home ground advantage against TS Galaxy in Soweto.

The Buccaneers meet the Rockets for the third time in their history, looking to clinch their first win against the Mpumalanga-based outfit.

The Sea Robbers are also likely to be with new faces in their squad after they confirmed earlier this week, that Goodman Mosele, Vincent Pule and Happy Jele are on the ‘comeback trail.

Thembinkosi Lorch also made his first appearance for the club in mid-week during their 1-1 draw with AmaZulu which left Pirates in seventh place – but Davids says they are ready for three points.

“Two days between, it’s just about the reset, refresh, ready to go,” Davids told the club’s media department.

“It’s important we come back to the Orlando Stadium to be able to play for the result, but also keep the performance at a high level.”

The two teams will lock horns at Orlando Stadium on Saturday afternoon at 17:30.
