Pitso Mosimane has sent a message to Kaizer Chiefs veteran Bernard Parker after he became the club’s all-time record scorer of the PSL era.
Parker had overtaken Siphiwe Tshabalala’s tally of 58 goals in the PSL era following his brace against SuperSport United on Sunday.
His brace saw him take his total to 60 goals for Amakhosi, more than any other player during the modern-day PSL era.
As a consequence, Parker received a host of congrats message, including one from Mosimane.
“They call him ‘Die Hand’. You have consistently given everything in this game for many years. Class is permanent. Salute! Bernard Parker.”
The two goals were Parker’s first in the DStv Premiership in over two years and he has another chance to add onto his tally when Chiefs will face Stellenbosch FC next week Tuesday, 2 November.
