TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic has praised opposition coach Stuart Baxter after his side’s 1-0 win over the favourites on Saturday evening.
The 42-year-old saw his side beat Chiefs 1-0 thanks to a second-half strike by Chidi Kwem, which sent the Glamour Boys out of the Nedbank Cup.
Ramovic was, of course, full of praise for his players but also expressed his admiration for opposition coach Baxter.
“Mr. Baxter had a lot of success in his life,” he said when asked by iDiski Times.
“He won the Nedbank Cup with Chiefs in 2015, he won it with Supersport in 2016 and 2017. He won in Japan the league, he won in Sweden also.
“So it’s a lot of respect from my side. I’m new in this business, I’m happy about it. I worked hard on myself.
“Yes, I played with one of the best, yes I a lot of coaches who were among the best in the world, so I saw a lot of quality things.
“But again, you have to also as a coach to improve and work hard on yourself day-by-day and if I get 1% of the success Baxter had, I would be happy.”
