Richards Bay Want Another Cup Win

Having knocked out Kaizer Chiefs in the previous round, Richards Bay Head Coach Simo Dladla says they have nothing to lose when they face TS Sporting in the Nedbank Cup last 16 on Sunday.

Dladla’s team are on a high since that victory over Chiefs, and they are now also top of the GladAfrica Championship table.

Dladla says though that his players have had a heavy workload, so he may have to make a few changes. However that does not change their approach and ambition to win the game.

“We don’t have a game to lose,” Dladla said in the build-up to the game.

“However, we are sitting with players that have been playing so many games in a short space of time. Preparations, good, but you might see some changes come Sunday.”

“I expect the same attitude, the same application, the same performance.”

“Obviously, we’ve had problems of our own, conceding early goals, and things like that, but the application will be the same. And yeah, and the attitude should be the same. And we’re looking to win against TS Sporting.”

Richards Bay are now on a run of 12 matches undefeated across all competitions.

“Of course, winning gives you confidence. So we are full of confidence.”

“And we’re going to use the same confidence going forward, of course, going 12 games unbeaten has brought a lot of belief amongst us. And we are going to ride on thqt confidence to make sure that we get what we’ve come to expect, which is winning.”
