SuperSport United and Swallows couldn’t be separated, but there were wins for TS Galaxy, Golden Arrows and Bloemfontein Celtic in today’s DStv Premiership action.

SuperSport United 1-1 Swallows

SuperSport and Swallows couldn’t be separated as they drew 1-1 at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium

SuperSport were in the lead in the 6th minute as Lucky Mohomi’s deflected effort gave the home team the lead.

Super sub Joseph Mhlongo scored in the 74th minute, after being set up by another sub, former SuperSport midfielder, Kamohelo Mahlatsi.

Bloemfontein Celtic 1-0 TTM

Ten men Celtic struck early as they beat Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila 1-0 at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium.

Sera Motebang gave Celtic the idea start when he put the home team up in the second minute.

Celtic were reduced to ten men in the 63rd minute when Ronald Pfumbidzai picked up a second yellow card in the game.

Golden Arrows 2-1 Maritzburg United

Arrows came from behind to beat Maritzburg 2-1 in the KZN derby at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.

Thabiso Kutumela put Maritzburg into the lead in the 36th minute, making no mistake after being set up by Judas Moseamedi.

Arrows were level in the 54th minute as, Lindokuhle Mtshali was set up by Knox Mutizwa, and made no mistake.

With ten minutes go to Mutizwa completed the comeback, scoring to put Arrows into the lead.

Black Leopards 0-3 TS Galaxy

Galaxy made light work of struggling Leopards as, they ran out 3-0 winners at Thohoyandou Stadium

Galaxy were awarded a penalty in the 34th minute, and Wayde Lekay made no mistake.

Bathusi Aubaas doubled the lead for Owen Da Gama’s team in the 56th minute, Aubaas blasting in King Ndlovu’s punched clearance from a corner.

Mxolisi Macuphu wrapped up the result in the 80th minute, as Leopards dropped back into bottom spot.

Sibongiseni Mthethwa was sent off in the 88th minute, as Leopards ended with ten.

Earlier in the day Orlando Pirates beat Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 in the Soweto derby.
