Sekhukhune United are interested in signing Royal AM defender Tshepo Rikhotso and are currently looking at pre-contract agreement, iDiski Times has gathered.
Rikhotso is on his last six-months with the KwaZulu-Natal outfit and could leave the club at the end of the season to find another home as a free agent despite having a one-year option to extend.
With Rikhotso’s contract expiring in June, iDiski Times understands he will leave as Babina Noko are leading the race to secure his signature, with AmaZulu and Stellenbosch also interested in his service.
The Limpopo-born defender was one of the key players before AM took over Bloemfontein Celtic at the beginning of the season, but after featuring in the first nine games of the season he has not played for Royal 2 November.
Sekhukhune have signed Justin Shonga, Rodrick Kabwe, Evans Rusike and Luckyboy Mokoena in the January transfer window, while Rikhotso survived the massive 19-man clear out at Royal AM.
