Spurs Add 3 Brazilians To Squad

Cape Town Spurs have announced the signing of three more Brazilians, taking their total tally to four at the club.

Defender Jairo Souza Da Silva was announced by the club just over a month ago.

27-year-old Centre forward Junior Batista, 25-year old defender Kassiano Soares and 24-year-old attacking midfielder Igor Oliveira, aka Igor Balotelli, have now joined up at the Cape Town GladAfrica Championship club, who earlier today confirmed Ian Taylor as Head Coach.

Spurs, formerly Ajax Cape Town, are currently 15th on the table, after a poor start to the season that saw previous Head Coach Vladislav Heric leave the club.

However under Taylor and assistant Nathan Paulse, they have picked up their first two wins of the season.

This GladAfrica Championship season is incredibly tight with just 11 points separating top and bottom spot.
