Sundowns-Polokwane Rescheduled

The Nedbank Cup last 16 fixture between Mamelodi Sundowns and Polokwane City, originally set for the 27th of February has been rescheduled. Sundowns’ DStv Premiership fixtures against Stellenbosch and Swallows have also been postponed.

The match will now be played on the 10th of March.

It was also originally meant to be played at Lucas Moripe Stadium, but has now been shifted to Loftus Versfeld.

The news was confirmed by the Premier Soccer League on Wednesday.

This was done to accommodate Sundowns’ re-scheduled CAF Champions League game against CR Belouizdad, which will be play in Tanzania on the 28th of February

Sundowns’ DStv Premiership match against Stellenbosch, originally meant to be played on the 2nd of March has also been rescheduled. However a new date has not been confirmed.

It is the same case for Sundowns’ match against Swallows, which was originally scheduled to be played on the 10th of March.
