Swallows have announced former Richards Bay head coach Simo Dladla as Brandon Truter’s new assistant.
Dladla was released by Richards earlier in the week, as the GladAfrica Championship team, who had been challenging for the league, saw their chances of winning the second tier come to an end.
Dladla and Richards Bay made headlines earlier this year after they knocked Kaizer Chiefs out of the Nedbank Cup.
But the highly-rated coach was unable to maintain their league challenge in a topsy-turvy season at the top of the table, although the club are still in the race for a playoff spot.
Dladla has signed a three year contract with the DStv Premiership club.
