Tembo Confident Ahead Of Gallants Clash

SuperSport United head coach Kaitano Tembo says they know it will be a tough match against Marumo Gallants in the DStv Premiership on Saturday but they are ready to face the challenge.

Tembo, though, has singled out some Gallants players whom he thinks will give him side more problems, including the former club player Thabo Mnyamane.

However, the Zimbabwean mentor says they will try to take a home ground advantage to get all positive results.

“Well our upcoming fixture we are playing against Marumo Gallants which I feel is a team that has got very good individual players,” he told the club’s media department.

“I can mention Celimpilo Ngema, I can mention Thabo Mnyamane who we know very well, and he also knows our environment, Miguel Timm, and Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo so that are all good individual players that can hit any team at any given time.

“So we are preparing, we have a very tough game and to make matters worse is I think they have got a new coach, Coach Dan Malesela, the players will want to impress. So, I don’t know how much time he had to work with the players, but I know it’s going to be a very tough game, like all the games we have been playing.

“Preparation for us is going to be very key. We have to really try to focus more on our game. Because this is our home game we have to try to impose our game on the opponents, and dominate the game because that is very key and give out a performance because that will make us get positive results.

“I’m quite confident that we will get good results irrespective of our national team players coming back today and Thursday, so we have had only two days to prepare with them.

“It’s always difficult when players are coming back from international duty because you don’t really know their state, we are just happy that there are no injuries in that regard we just hope that our players are fresh enough to play Marumo Gallants on Saturday, but I’m positive that we will get positive results.”

Matsatsantsa will welcome Bahlabane Ba Ntwa on Saturday at Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium (17h00).
