Three Stars Ruled Out Of DStv Prem Action

Orlando Pirates, SuperSport United and high-flying Stellenbosch will be without the services of players through suspension this week.

Pirates, who are in seventh place, face off against second-placed Stellies in Cape Town and they will be without Abel Mabaso – who’s become an integral part of their squad this season.

Mabaso has featured in midfield and defence with his work rate and versatility being rewarded by co-coaches Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids.

Steve Barker has less of a headache with rising star Devin Titus ruled out after his lunge against AmaZulu goalkeeper Veli Mothwa was punished with a red card.

The teenager who’s impressed in the DStv Diski Challenge has earned five appearances this season and is showing signs that he could develop into one of their future stars.

Meanwhile SuperSport are without Bafana Bafana defender Luke Fleurs for the Tshwane Derby, with Buhle Mkhwanazi now stepping in during his absence.
