GladAfrica Championship team Cape Town All Stars have announced Sammy Troughton as their new Head Coach.
Troughton takes over from Calvin Marlin, who will now revert back to his previous role of goalkeeper coach.
Troughton had most recently been in charge at Pretoria Callies, but was replaced by Joel Masutha at the end of last month.
He had been in charge when promoting the team from the ABC Motsepe Leagues last season, and guided the team to this season’s Nedbank Cup semi-finals.
All Stars beat Jomo Cosmos 1-0 yesterday, but are currently struggling in 13th spot on the table.
