Swallows coach Brandon Truter says they are delighted to be in the position they find themselves, but aren’t thinking about being title contenders.
Swallows, having been promoted after winning the Glad Africa Championship last season, are unbeaten in their maiden DSTV Premiership season.
They are currently second on the table, and it is only goal difference that separates them from leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
“No, no, no, no, title contenders you should speak to Sundowns, Pirates and SuperSport not us,” Truter said.
“We just going, We just keep on going, doing the best with the next match, because the next match is the only thing that matters.”
“We’re not thinking about title contenders or anything like that, it’s the next match that matters. It’s only when the season ends, then we’ll see where we are.”
“We’re new to this league, myself, a lot of the players as well, this is where we wanted to be and we’re here now, but we’re not getting carried away with ourselves. We are the small fish in this big pond of sharks.”
