Tso: Akpeyi Must Be Benched Now & Khune Brought Back

Former Orlando Pirates midfielder, Tso Vilakazi, believes that Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt has to bring Itumeleng Khune back into the team after their loss to Pirates.

The Amakhosi lost the first-leg of their MTN8 semi-final 3-0 against their fierce rivals on Saturday afternoon.

Daniel Akpeyi was in goal for the Glamour Boys, replacing Khune after the Bafana Bafana shot-stopper had conceded three goals against Mamelodi Sundowns.

Vilakazi has now given his take on the hot topic, saying that he expects the Nigerian to suffer the same fate as his teammate.

“Khune conceded three goals against Sundowns, now I want to see if Akpeyi will be benched as well since he also conceded the same number of goals,” Vilakazi told iDiskiTV.

“If Khune was benched on the basis of conceding three goals, then Gavin Hunt must apply the same consistency and bring Khune back.”
