TTM Sign Ex-Golden Boot Winner

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila have landed the signing of former Free State Stars striker Moeketsi Sekola ahead of the 2022/23 season.

After securing the likes of Xolani ‘Blackberry’ Nkala, Cheslyn Jampies, Thabo Moloi, Sibusiso Fakude, Issa Sarr, Enocent Mkhabela, Eden Nene, Darren Job and Thabiso Nkoana and a new head coach in former VFA boss Johnny Ferreira, they’ve now added Sekola.

The experienced striker who won the 2014/15 Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot award with Ea Lla Koto with 14 goals has endured a tumultuous journey since that breakout season.

His pre-contract deal with Highlands Park seemingly derailed his progress after stints with Chippa United, Royal Eagles, Real Kings and Jomo Cosmos and even a move back to Stars – he’s now found a new home in Limpopo where he will be aiming to use his experience to help the club fight for promotion next season.

TTM finished 13th last season in the second-tier and reached the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup after selling their top-flight status to Marumo Gallants.
