AmaZulu FC talisman Augustine Kwem will miss the clash against Mamelodi Sundowns this evening following his suspension.
Kwem is the only player to score a league hattrick this season. It took less than 20 minutes on pitch for the Nigerian striker to score three goals against Lamontville Golden Arrows in the KwaZulu Natal derby.
Unfortunately Usuthu won’t have Ngwem this evening as he received his fourth yellow card in the Carling Knockout Cup semi-final loss against TS Galaxy.
Kwem received his first yellow card against Royal AM. The aggressive striker received his second yellow card against Richards Bay in a goalless draw. In a five-goal-thriller against Cape Town City, he received his third bookable offence.
The 26-year-old is currently sitting on five goals this season in all competitions, four in the DStv Premiership and one in the Carling Knockout Cup.
Victor Letsaolo and Sede Junior Dion (who has also scored a hattrick this season, but in the CKO) are expected to slot in as Usuthu aim to get maximum points and end the 100% record of Sundowns.
