Thapelo Xoki says that AmaZulu have enough ammunition to beat SuperSport United in their DStv Premiership match at Kings Park today.
The two teams meet for the second time in two months, with the last fixture ending in a 1-1 draw on the 20th of January.
Xoki also says they want to bounce back from the cup defeat, where they lost 1-0 to Black Leopards on the weekend.
“It’s a very important match for us. It’s gonna give us a chance to bounce back from the defeat over the weekend, and give us the momentum that we’ve already have in the league, to keep it going,” Xoki told the club’s media department.
“We’ve been doing very well in the last few games in the league. And our home results have been very good also. So we want to keep up with that momentum and make sure that we make Kings Park a fortress for any team that comes in.”
“It’s a game we remember very well, because it’s not a game that we played long time ago it’s a recent game in our memories,” Xoki said about their last encounter with SuperSport.
“I think we played in January. It’s a game we thought we should have won, we created enough chances to win the game. We limited their attack to minimum chances.”
“So we know that it’s a team we can beat if we apply ourself correctly, and do what the technical staff instruct us to do and make sure we follow the plan. And we have confidence enough to to go into the game knowing that we can win.”
“So we just have to apply ourselves and be ready to fight and match the effort and match their resilience and then we will be good to go.”
