Orlando Pirates Head Coach Josef Zinnbauer wants his team to stay focussed as they take on Maritzburg United in the last 16 in the Nedbank Cup.
Zinnbauer was disappointed to only get a draw against SuperSport United in the DSTV Premiership midweek game, and says they need to put that behind them.
He says they cannot be too casual going into the Maritzburg game, and although their opponents are going through a tough time in the league, they can still win the Nedbank.
“Yeah, we have to see what is the mood now with the team, (Wednesday) it was a unlucky draw,” Middendorp said ahead of Saturday’s game.
“The performance was good. I think the mood is also good today, but we have to see now what has happened about injured players, (Thembinkosi) Lorch now, we will have to see what information after the scan and Tyson also have problems with his hands and then we are looking forward.”
“We have a good game., It’s an away game. We know Maritzburg is not easy to play, we have the experience from many weeks ago, and we know they have they have to fight for the relegation, and also have a chance in the Nedbank and we have to focus now exactly on this game.”
“You cannot go too casual into this game. And we have to focus exactly, I say it again, on Saturday.
