Baroka FC have announced the signing of midfielder Given Mashikinya on a one-year deal.
The 33-year-old has been without a club since leaving Polokwane City when his contract wasn’t renewed at the end of last season.
Mashikinya played 29 matches for Rise and Shine and scored two goals plus one assist in all competitions last term.
The former Sekhukhune United man is the second player to be announced by the Motsepe Foundation Championship side in two months following the arrival of former Kaizer Chiefs defender Sibusiso Mabiliso.
He might not be the last addition after chairman Khurishi Mphahlele said the side was assessing Gerald Phiri Jr.
Bakgaga are looking for outright promotion back to the Betway Premiership and is currently in seventh place on the championship log with nine points in six games.
