As previously reported by iDiski Times, Cape Town City have announced the signing of former Bidvest Wits and Ajax Cape Town winger Abednigo Mosiatlhaga.
Mosiatlhaga signs for the Citizens after spending three seasons in Angola, playing for both Futebol Clube Bravos do Maquis and Wiliete Sport Clube de Benguela.
It is a reunion of sorts as Mosiatlhaga previously worked with Cape Town City coach Andries Ulderink, when the Dutch mentor was in charge of Ajax at Ikamva.
In fact, it was Mosiatlhaga’s most effective campaign in South African football, as he scored 18 goals in the 2019/20 season as Ajax narrowly missed out on promotion.
City begins their Motsepe Foundation Championship this upcoming weekend, on the road to Real Native FC, formerly Casric Stars.
