The 26-year-old was with Casric Stars and helped the side to finish in seventh place back in the 2023/24 season.Â
In August 2024, this publication reported that Thibedi was suspended by Stars after missing training several times. He was then released by the side, and his jersey number was handed to Kermit Erasmus.
This publication has now gathered that Thibedi has surfaced at Orbit on a short-term contract and is expected to help the side as they compete for the league title and promotion playoffs.Â

Orbit currently sit second on the league table with 34 points after 20 games; they are the best team defensively as they only conceded 16 goals.
If all goes well with Thibedi, he will be available for selection when they face runaway league leaders Durban City in a top-of-the-table clash next weekend in Durban.
