Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Issa Sarr has left Motsepe Foundation Championship side Tshakuma Tsha Mandzivhandila after they failed to pay him.
The experienced midfielder joined TTM at the beginning of the season after leaving Uthongathi.
During that time TTM were still based in Limpopo and they were sitting at the top of the Motsepe Foundation Championship table after six games.
However, things started to get sour when players didn’t get their salaries in the beginning of the year, as reported by iDiski Times.
Despite the club sorting out some of those issues and relocating to Blomfontein, results haven’t been forthcoming and they have been without a win in 16 successive games, only picking up four draws since November.
The run has seen them drop to the bottom of the Motsepe Foundation Champions log, with little hope their status can be saved.
This publication has learnt that Sarr was asked to move with the team to Bloemfontein but he refused, because at the time of the move the club had not paid him for several months.
Both parties seemingly couldn’t agree on a solution and Sarr requested the club to let him go and he’s clearance was granted to him.
Sources have told iDiski Times that the 36-year-old has attracted interest from three unnamed Motsepe Foundation Championship teams.
The Senegalese midfielder made 105 appearances in the colours of Orlando Pirates, scoring seven goals between 2014 and 2018.
