Tuks Confirm Pair’s Exit

The University of Pretoria have confirmed that the defensive pair of Bongolwethu Siyasi and Lulama Maqoko have left the club.

The 21-year-old Siyasi, a former Ajax Cape Town player, was on loan at the club from Mamelodi Sundowns.

He played in 7 games this season.

30 year old Maqoko, a former Steenberg United player, had been with Tuks for the past three seasons and featured in 10 leagues this campaign.

“The Club can confirm that we have parted ways with defenders Bongolwethu Siyasi and Lulama Maqoko,” they confirmed on their social media platforms.

“We thank both players for the respect they have shown to the technical team and for their service to the club. We wish them all the best for the future.”

AmaTuks are currently second in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, two points behind log leaders Orbit College.
