The MTN8 quarter-finals have been confirmed after the conclusion of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season.
The Buccaneers beat ORBIT College 2-0 after own goals by Sabelo Nkomo and Ndumiso Ngiba saw them climb above Mamelodi Sundowns on the log.
Meanwhile, Durban City secured the final top 8 spot despite a 1-0 defeat to AmaZulu on Saturday, finishing on 39 points – two above Stellenbosch FC and Siwelele FC.
As a consequence, the Buccaneers will face Nedbank Cup winners Durban in the MTN8 quarter-finals.
Sundowns in second will face seventh-placed Polokwane City, while third-placed Kaizer Chiefs will meet Golden Arrows, who finished in sixth.
Last but not least, fourth-placed AmaZulu will battle with fifth Sekhukhune United for a place in the semi-finals.
