Orlando Pirates and Sekhukhune United have announced their starting XIs for today’s MTN8 semi-final second leg at Orlando Amstel Arena.
The Buccaneers take a crucial 1-0 advantage from the first leg into this tie, which makes them clear favourites to book their ticket for the Wafa Wafa final.
Pirates also beat Babina Noko 2-0 during their midweek Betway Premiership clash, making it two wins in two against Cedric Kaze’s side.
Before that midweek tie, though, Sekhukhune had won back-to-back matches at Orlando Amstel Arena, which will have the hosts on alert ahead of today’s tie.
Pirates could qualify for their fifth successive MTN8 final after winning the trophy four years in a row.
They started the 2026/27 campaign with five wins and one draw in their first six games, while Sekhukhune have won three and lost three under Kaze.
Sekhukhune could reach their first-ever MTN8 final but would have to overturn their 1-0 first-leg defeat.
Here is how they line up:
Pirates XI: Chaine, Sebelebele, Seema, Zulu, Ndaba, Selepe, Mthiyane, Mokobodi, Lungu, Appollis, Mbuthuma.
Subs: Dladla, Masilela, Dansin, Padime, Msendami, Chabatsane, Radiopane, Moremi, Hotto.
