All Stars head coach Sinethemba Badela has welcomed the Nedbank Cup qualifying draw as they will face Tshakhuma.
All Stars started the season very well but got disturbed by some matches being postponed. Umlilo as they are known was drawn against Limpopo-based side Tshakhuma in the preliminary round of the Nedbank Cup.
Badela who’s the head coach of All Stars, shared his views with iDiski Times regarding the draw, stating that it won’t be an easy fixture, especially Tshakhuma that have lots of experienced players in their books.
“We’ve had a look at the draw, very interesting to be honest it’s probably the most difficult round if you ask all the teams,” Badela told iDiski Times.
“NFD game on it’s own it’s a cup final. It’s very difficult it’s not easy to beat anyone in this league because I don’t think the difference in the teams is that much and it’s interesting because we playing TTM which is one of the few games that we have to play when we open the first few, I think it’s a third game we play Hungry Lions then we play La Masia, then we play them (TTM). Already we’ve had them at the back of our minds. We’ve watched one or two of their games when we were doing analysis of the other teams.
“They’ve got a very good team, they started the league well. I know there’s a stage where they went five games unbeaten, winning four drawing one. To do that in the NFD you must have a good team.
“They’ve got some experienced players at the back. They’ve got Luvo Mpetha, they’ve got Issa Sarr. So lots of experience there. In the midfield they’ve got Nene. Then upfront which is dangerous they’ve got goals upfront, Moeketsi Sekola who knows the league very well and he scores, they also have Thabiso Nkoana and Rendani Ndou so they’ve got some firepower upfront.
“They are a very good team, we have to look at their game more details and analyse then see what plan we can come up with to win the game.
