Major Blow For Durban City Ahead Casric Tie

Durban City will have to cope without one of their most influential players, Kyle Jurgens, when they go head-to-head with Casric Stars in the Nedbank Cup semi-final this weekend.  

The highly anticipated clash is set to take place on Saturday, 4 April, at Chatsworth Stadium in Durban, where both teams will be fighting for a coveted place in the 

Jurgens will be unavailable after accumulating four yellow cards, which results in a suspension for this crucial encounter.

Despite this setback, interim coach Dladla remains optimistic, confirming that aside from Jurgens, the rest of the squad is fully fit and ready. 

He revealed that players who were previously sidelined with injuries have now recovered and are back in contention for selection, giving the team a welcome boost ahead of the crucial match.

“Luckily, most of the players will be there,” said Dladla.

“The only player who won’t be there, due to suspension is Kyle Jurgens, he won’t be there.

“But most of the ones who were injured are back. The medical team was working with them and they started training and it looks promising.

“So, I can say all players are available for selection expect Kyle Jurgens.”
