Mdunyelwa On Complacency & NBC Target

Mamelodi Sundowns Zuko Mdunyelwa has maintained that their Nedbank Cup last 32 draw against Sibanye Golden Stars is not an easy draw as they aim to reach the final of the Ke Yona Cup and win it.

Masandawana were dumped out of the MTN8 earlier this season at the penultimate stage by Stellenbosch FC before being shocked by Magesi FC in the final of the Carling Knockout Cup.

This means that the Nedbank Cup and Betway Premiership are the only two domestic silverware shot they have after going through a coaching change with Miguel Cardoso taking over from Manqoba Mnqithi.

“There is no easy draws especially if you’re a professional. You have to be professional throughout doesn’t matter who you face,” Mdunyelwa told the media after the draw.

“What we’ve told ourselves, any final that we reach, we wanna win it because we know how it feels to be on the other end of not winning a final.

“So, should we be in a final, we will try by all means to win it,” he added.
