After scoring the winning goal in the Nedbank Cup final, teen sensation Relebohile Mofokeng has expressed what Jose Riveiro said to him before he sent him on the pitch.
Mofokeng scored in stoppage time as Pirates beat Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 in the final at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday.

The elated 19-year-old said he wasn’t focussed on being the youngest player on the pitch, with Riveiro encouraging him before his substitution.
“I didn’t pay too much attention on the fact that I’m the youngest player on the pitch I just concentrated on being on the pitch and being competitive,” he told journalists.
“The coach told me to come up with a plan and that I must do my best and that’s what I did.”
Mofokeng also commented on him not starting the game, but said he had no problem with the coach’s decision.
“No I was not disappointed,” he commented.
“Because it was the plan, you can’t go against the coach’s plan and this time it worked.”
It was Mofokeng’s third trophy since being promoted to the first time at Pirates, adding onto last season’s Nedbank Cup and this season’s MTN8.
