Orlando Pirates have announced their starting line-up for this afternoon’s Nedbank Cup Last 32 clash against minnows Crystal Lake at Mbombela Stadium.
Pirates opponents are six-months-old SAFA Ehlanzeni Hollywoodbets Regional League side, Crystal Lake, who were only confirmed by an arbitration ruling a week ago.
The Bushbuckridge side normally use Thulamashe Old Stadium but will use Mbombela Stadium for the Nedbank Cup fixture against Buccaneers.
Lake are currently sitting in second place in their league, with three wins in their last five matches. They booked a place to this round after beating Middleburg 1-0.
Pirates have struggled previously against lower division teams, having lost to Maluti FET College in the Nedbank Cup first round in the 2012/13 season.
But last season, they went all the way and lifted the trophy under Jose Riveiro, beating Sekhukhune United 2-1 in the final.
The defending champions aim to add yet another silverware after clinching back-to-back MTN8 titles earlier in the season.
Miguel Timm will miss the clash after receiving a red card in the 1-1 draw with Mamelodi Sundowns.
Here is how they line up:
Crystal Lake XI: Mkhonto, Ngobeni, Khumalo, Mhlanga, Thetha, Nkuna, Ndlovu, Mashego, Khoza, M. Mathebula, Silaule
Subs: Mabunda, Sambo, Khosa, Nkuna, Mnisi, N. Mathebula, Manana, R. Mathebula, Shongwe
