The Premier Soccer League have confirmed the draw for the Round of 32 of this year’s tournament will take place on Thursday, 15 January.
With the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations slowly coming to an end, and Bafana Bafana already being knocked out, local football fans turn their attention to the resumption of domestic football.
While the Betway Premiership will resume on 20 January, the first highlight of the domestic 2026 calendar will be the Nedbank Cup Last 32 draw.
“‘Ke Yona Ya Rona’ is back! As we reveal each team’s destiny, the 19th edition of the Nedbank Cup promises to once again place football supporters and all participating clubs at the centre of every celebration,” read a statement.
“Get ready for an unforgettable evening as we kick off the tournament, draw the Round-of-32 teams, and share an exclusive first look at this year’s campaign, Score Your Loan – where when they score, you score too.”
The date marked in the PSL calendar for the Round of 32 fixtures is currently 4 February.
Kaizer Chiefs are the defending champions, with the eight winners from the Motsepe Foundation Championship playoffs and eight amateur teams joining the 16 Betway Premiership sides in the Round of 32.
