Sangare Points Out Pirates Weakness Ahead Of Nedbank Final

Sekhukhune United goalkeeper Badra Ali Sangare has pointed out what he believes are Orlando Pirates weaknesses ahead of Saturday’s Nedbank Cup final at Loftus Versveld Stadium.

Babina Noko have gotten four points from the Buccaneers in the league this season, beating them 2-0 in the first round in Polokwane before their recent 1-1 draw in Soweto two weeks ago.

With both sides having been to extra-time and to penalties in this competition this season, the Ivorian international doesn’t wish for any extra-time, as shootout aren’t his best qualities.

Sangare was speaking to iDiski Times writer Lethabo Kganyago in edition 105 edition of the newspaper and said Sekhukhune need to try and score first because that will rattle Pirates, pointing to their weakness in defence.

“In the final anything can happen. A cup final is not the same as the league, it is not the same,” Sangare told iDiski Times.

“The important thing in a final is that you must not concede first. Pirates, you know, are a ball-playing team, they don’t know how to defend too much.

“So when you score first they are going to rush and open and come behind, then you can take charge.
