Harambee Stars coach Benni McCarthy has named his final 23-man squad to play Gambia and Seychelles in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers next month at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi.
Kenya’s chances of qualifying for the world showpiece in USA, Canada and Mexico next year are significantly low as they sit in fourth position in qualifying Group F with only six points from as many outings and are 10 points off pool leaders Ivory Coast.

The former Cape Town City and AmaZulu coach has kept 13 players from the impressive CHAN squad, a move hailed by some pundits as a show of continuity.
There were notable inclusions of Real Sociedad winger Job Ochieng and Polokwane City goalkeeper Brian Bwire while rated Austin Odhiambo and Poland based Eric’ Marcelo’ Ouma have been left out of the squad.
