Benni McCarthy remained winless with Kenya in his third game with the Harambee Stars.
The former AmaZulu and Cape Town City coach took over at Kenya in the beginning of March, but it hasn’t been easy ride since.
After drawing the first game with Gambia 3-3, and losing the second to Gabon 2-1, Kenya were held to a goalless draw by Chad.
Polokwane City goalkeeper Brian Bwire and Stellenbosch FC defender Brian Onyango featured in the game.
Kenya are now without a win in nine games, drawing six, while Chad have not won in 12 matches.
The Harambee Stars are in 111th position in the FIFA rankings, while Chad are 177th.
