Raja Casablanca coach Fadlu Davids has weighed in on chances of returning to the PSL, having been out of the country for the past three seasons.
Davids initially served as assistant to Josef Zinnbauer at Raja between 2023 and 2024 before moving on to take charge of Simba SC, where he led the team to the CAF Confederation Cup final.
He later rejoined Raja Casablanca as head coach and is currently chasing his first trophy in that role, with the team sitting top of the league on 30 points from 15 matches.
In an interview with Andile Ncube on Metro FM’s SNAWA, Davids admitted a return to the PSL remains a possibility given his deep understanding of the league. However, he stressed that his primary focus is on achieving success with Raja this season.
“Of course there’s always a possibility at home,” said Davids.
“The PSL, we know it inside and out. Not only we’re following it but having been there for the last decade or more.
“There’s always a possibility to come back but at the moment, we love our club, we’re happy where we are.
“Trying to achieve our targets is a big, big challenge. We’ll do everything in our power to be there and lift the trophy at the end of the season.
“To answer your question, there’s always a possibility but right now we’re really, really focused on our project at hand.”
