Cassius Mailula has been named Wydad Athletic Club Player of the Month after his fine performances in January.
Mailula, 23, has been one of the shining lights for Rulani Mokwena at Wydad, playing an instrumental role in the revival of the club.
In January, Wydad celebrated three wins in the Botola Pro, with Mailula scoring once and setting up another.
As a consequence, the former Mamelodi Sundowns winger was named Player of the Month by the Moroccan giants.

Overall, Mailula has scored twice and assisted five more in 20 appearances for Mokwena’s side.
Wydad return to action on Sunday when they will face Hassania in the league, when new signing Thembinkosi Lorch could make his debut.
