Former Mamelodi Sundowns forward Cassius Mailula has arrived in Belgium to begin life with KV Kortrijk on Thursday.
The 24-year-old has been a notable absentee from the squad since his season-long loan from FC Toronto was confirmed on transfer deadline day.
It’s been confirmed to this publication that paperwork issues had delayed his arrival in the country and he will now be looking to help the club in their bid for top-flight promotion.
Last season, Mailula spent at Wydad Athletic Club, where he went to play FIFA Club World Cup and helped the Moroccan giants to finish in the CAF Confederation Cup spot in the Botola Pro.
Overall, Mailula scored six goals and set up seven more in 36 appearances for Wydad.
