Mayambela & Links Find Net, Mailula Gets First Start

Mihlali Mayambela and Gift Links were on the scoresheets for their respective clubs abroad, while Cassius Mailula earned his first start after making his debut for the club last week. 

Mayambela scored the second goal for Aris Limassol in their 2-0 away league victory over Apollon in Cyprus. Meanwhile, Links netted in Aarhus’ 3-1 win over Odense in the Landspokal Cup quarterfinal.

Elsewhere in Cyprus, Luther Singh, who has established himself as a key player for AEL Limassol, completed the full 90 minutes as they played to a goalless draw against Olympiakos Nicosia. 

In Belgium, Mailula was named in the starting line-up for the Belgian Pro Challenger side as they secured a 1-0 win over Seraing on Sunday. 

Also in Belgium, Shandre Campbell made a 13-minute appearance for Club Brugge’s senior side in their 5-1 victory over Dender in the Jupiler Pro League. 

In England, Lyle Foster started for Burnley and featured for 62 minutes in their 3-2 Premier League defeat to Fulham. 

Elsewhere in England, Luke Le Roux was an unused substitute for Portsmouth in a 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers in the SkyBet Championship. 

In Germany, Ime Okon played the entire match as Hannover 96 drew 0-0 with Bochum in Bundesliga 2.
