Bafana Bafana winger Elias Mokwana has not ruled out a future move to Kaizer Chiefs after opting for a move to North Africa at the beginning of the current campaign where he has excelled for Esperance Sportive de Tunis.
Prior his transfer to North Africa, Mokwana was heavily linked with a move to Naturena with the club’s Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr also confirming that Chiefs had made an offer to his former side Sekhukhune United.

The 25-year-old revealed to iDiski Times senior writer Matshelane Mamabolo in edition 197 of the newspaper how happy he was that Chiefs knocked on his door and that he is still keeping the dream alive.
“Eish, this one’s going to put me in trouble,” said Mokwana.
“To tell you the truth, my father was an Orlando Pirates fan and I was a Chiefs fan, now you can see.
“When they said Chiefs wanted me, I was happy. Unfortunately, it never happened, but the dream is still there. In the future, I might go.”
But Mokwana has other ambitions first, and one of those is go to Europe.
“At Esperance, my contract still has two years and my goal is to go to Europe and play in the Champions League and stuff.”
