Bafana Bafana striker Lebo Mothiba has been rewarded for his recent good form at Troyes, winning the club’s player of the month award.
Mothiba, who is on the books of Strasbourg, is currently on loan at the French Ligue 1 team, and his strong performances have won him the accolade.

The 26-year-old returned this year after a long-term knee injury, and has scored two goals for Troyes during his loan spell thus far. He has featured in ten games, making five starts.
Mothiba has 14 caps for Bafana, scoring four goals, but last featured back in 2019 before his injury. He is yet to feature in a squad named by Hugo Broos, but could push for inclusion in Broos’ squad for the Afcon qualifiers that kick off in two months time.
