A promising South African midfielder has signed for Portadown in the Northern Irish Premiership league, becoming the second player from Mzansi at the club.
Katlego Mashigo has been announced by the club, joining former Bidvest Wits and Maritzburg United goalkeeper Jethren Barr in Northern Ireland.
Mashigo, a junior international, has spent most of his life in the United Kingdom, having moved to Ireland as a child.
The 21-year-old first came to prominence when he was a youth player at Fleetwood Town, before joining Bohemians in Ireland.
Mashigo signed his first professional contract in 2021 with another Irish team, Waterford, and will now hope to shine at Portadown.
