Pitso Gives Verdict On Riveiro, Nabi & Downs

Former Esteghlal FC head coach Pitso Mosimane says he can work anywhere in the world, including here in South Africa as long as the conditions are good.

Mosimane is currently club-less after parting ways with the Iranian giants last month due to unpaid salaries to him and his technical team.

Mosimane struggled to get results enduring a winless streak in his last six matches before leaving his role.

The former Bafana coach is back in the country and spoke to Xoli Zondo on 5FM where he was asked about where his next move would be. ‘Jingles’ stated that anywhere in the world, while also outlining why it wouldn’t be the big three in the PSL right now.

“There’s no problem, I’m a professional I coach anywhere in the world, as long as it’s proper and it’s right,” said Mosimane.

“I know the coaches, both of them, of people you mentioned. I think Orlando Pirates has a very good coach, fantastic and they are on a roll. We should not disturb them.

“Kaizer Chiefs okay, [Nasreddine] Nabi is trying to do something. He’s getting there. He’s not really convincing but I guess he’s trying his best on the big team, the biggest love anyway.

“The billionaires [Mamelodi Sundowns] are good. They can always buy anybody anything and they can buy Pep if they want. So, they don’t need help.

“I’m happy that we have left them at a better place and look how they are doing. I’m proud to look back. You know, when somebody says like there was a mess like I’m talking about the story about the mess, and I had to sort it out.

“There’s no mess I left there; I left trophies.”
