Ramoreboli found himself between a rock and a hard place after being appointed as interim coach of the Botswana national team and helping them to qualify for the AFCON that will be hosted in Morocco and Galaxy on the other side.

The South African mentor won back-to-back league titles as well as the domestic double with Galaxy and also reached the CAF Champions League group stages in 2023/24.
In the statement released by Galaxy, they mentioned that Blessing Moyo who has been the assistant coach to Ramoreboli for the past three years will take charge of the team on an interim basis “to allow Morena Ramoreboli to focus on personal commitments”.
According to the information received by this publication, Ramoreboli is in final talks with the Botswana FA to take over as permanent head coach and he won’t be available for Galaxy’s next two games against Orapa United and Sua Flamingoes before going to the Christmas break.
The Free State-born tactician is expected to start the new role with the national team of Botswana depending on the negotiations.
