Rulani Mokwena’s Pyramids FC make it two out of two wins after a comfortable win against newly promoted side Abu Qir Fertilizers SC.
Pyramids came into this game after a great start to the season, following a 3-0 win over Ghazl El Mahalla on the opening day.

Mokwena’s side took the lead towards the end of the first half through in-form Youssef Obama, who sent the 2025 CAF Champions League winners into the break leading 1-0.
Three minutes into the second half, Pyramids doubled their lead through youngster Odeh Fakhoury. The 20-year-old has now scored in back-to-back games for Pyramids after a great FIFA World Cup with Jordan.
Pyramids top the table with six points, without conceding a goal and having scored the most goals in the league with five so far.
Pyramids’ next encounter is against Al-Masry away from home in four days on 31 August.
