New Mouloudia Club d’Alger head coach Rulani Mokwena has revealed which coaches will join him at his new technical team at the Algerian Ligue 1 champions.
Mokwena, 38, was unveiled by the Algerian giants on Monday after penning a two-year deal with MC Alger.
During his unveiling press conference, Mokwena revealed that he will once again link up with some familiar faces, including former Sundowns goalkeeper coach Wendell Robinson, who left his post at AmaZulu, as well as former Sundowns conditioning coach Sibusiso Mahlangu.
In addition, Mokwena roped in Togo assistant coach Enzo Donis, who has previously also worked at AS Vita.
“We will have two assistant coaches,” Mokwena stated.
“Coach Wendell Robinson, who has a background of working with national teams in South Africa, a former professional football player in South Africa, but also a Champions League winner, multiple league title with Mamelodi Sundowns, and of course the African Super League.
“We have also coach Enzo Donis, he’s coming in as an assistant and a set-piece coach, too. He has great European experience, speaks multiple languages like French, Spanish and English. He will also help with the African experience because he’s coached [at] the Togo national team currently and AS Vita club.
“We have conditioning coaches in coach Sbu Mahlangu – again, he also from Mamelodi Sundowns, he was with us in Wydad, so he has a good experience in the North African space. He will help us a lot in getting the players conditioned in our game model and the style of play.
“And then coach Yassim will also join in a few days as a second conditioning coach and that completes the technical team.”
