Rulani Mokwena’s Wydad Athletic Club have won four Botolo Pro games in a row for a first time under the South African tactician.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach saw Cassius Mailula collect his Player of the Month award before the match.
Mailula started the 2-0 win over Hassania d’Agadir, while new signing Thembinkosi Lorch was named on the bench for a first time.
Wydad opened the scoring in the 36th minute via Jamal Harkass, and extended their lead ion the 56th minute via Ismail Moutaraji.
Lorch made his debut, coming off the bench in the 64th minute.
The saw Wydad stay in fourth place, but they narrowed their gap to second-placed AS FAR to just one point.
However, they sit 13 points behind leaders RS Berkane.
